Participation in the Calgary RSC includes members from the Calgary Regional Homebuilders, Alberta Roadbuilders & Heavy Construction Association, small-medium-large contractors, suppliers, union reps and companies / associations outside of the membership.

Our committee maintains strong attendance with the increase in members inviting guests (bring a friend) with each meeting.

We continue to Liaise with Alberta Workplace Health and Safety and the Worker’s Compensation Board-Alberta. Representatives of these organizations advise the group on upcoming activities, development of integral safety practices and the sharing of effective and relevant safety education for the construction industry.

Several RSC members sit on the Board of Directors, ACSA and inform the group on the relevant news within the association and the initiatives underway to better the delivery of safety training / education and the administration of the Partnerships program.

Our focus each year:

• The CRSC will continue the promotion of health and safety to our employees within our company’s and the construction community.

• Promotion of the Calgary RSC will resume through participation of events, attending other association meetings and submissions to the Advisor magazine.

• Members are always encouraged to bring guests as the diverseness of participants allows our safety culture to grow.
