Your Regional Safety Committee can make a difference, and it will give members the chance to share safety related concerns, provide access to training for workers, and reduce accident costs.

The ACSA normally interacts with employers and employees in construction through our Regional Safety Committees. The committees are currently located in various centers across Alberta.

They are comprised of representatives from construction and trades associations, along with worker members for the purpose of providing a communication link between the employers and the Association's Board of Directors. The committees will be active in identifying regional and trade-specific health and safety training needs. They will also be involved in developing solutions to safety problems in the construction industry, particularly at the local level.
