6007 Residental Scaffolding (1 day)

Description:

This course is designed to provide the participant with comprehensive knowledge about scaffolding systems that are presently being used in the residential construction industry. This course has been developed for the industry as an awareness course only so that those who work in residential construction are familiar with the systems.

 

Course Objectives:

Upon completion of the course, the participant should be familiar with:

·      The types of scaffolding systems available on the work site

·      The regulatory requirements associated with scaffolding work

·      How to determine what type of scaffolding system is applicable to the work being performed

·      Fall protection systems and how they are to be used

·      What hand signals are common for lifting, lowering scaffold sections, materials to the work location
