4500 H2S Awareness (CBT) (1 day)

Description: This course is a tool that may be used to train workers who work in areas with low possibility of exposure to H2S. It describes the different exposure levels as legislated by the Alberta Government, and the symptoms of exposure. It also talks about creation of SO2 and its exposure limits. It emphasizes the need for following site procedures, such as gas testing and training on proper use of SCBA. This training is designed to raise the awareness and does not cover hands-on SCBA training or gas detection training. The fee for this course is $40.00 plus GST
