4009 Effective Claims Management (2 days)

Description: This two-day course is designed for management, supervisors, and office personnel who are involved in Workers' Compensation Board claims and Modified Work Programs within the organization/company.

Course Objectives:

The purpose of the course is to familiarize personnel with how to effectively manage an injury claim. Understanding WCB legislation, reporting forms, managing the claim, modified work, and costs associated with the claim are all part of an Effective Disability Management program.

Summary:

Once the course has been completed, the participant should have the knowledge and understanding of what an effective disability management system does for the injured worker and the employer.
