Auditor Training Program (ATP) Recertification

 

This course is designed for individuals who will be continuing to evaluate the effectiveness of a company’s health and safety program through the audit process. In this course, you will be receiving updates relating to any changes to the audit document /process. Through discussion and a workshop, you will be able to discuss your own experiences while performing duties as a certified auditor.

Course Objective:

  • To reinforce the rationale for conducting effective health and safety audits and to refine previously developed auditing skills
Pre-requisites:
  • Must be an ACSA certified auditor (current certification).

Course Content:
Provide updates relating to revisions in the audit document/process Emphasize the necessity for professionally:

  • performing effective interviews
  • communicating Audit findings
  • preparing and delivering the Auditor’s Executive

Summary Report Review legislative and Due Diligence requirements Participate in a simulated Limited Scope Audit workshop

Certification:
This course has a written exam component for which participants must achieve a minimum score of 80% for course certification.
Once a certificate has been issued, the auditor must maintain his/her certification as required - completing and submitting a minimum of one internal, maintenance, or external audit annually in addition to attending a recertification course every 3 years, before certification expiry date.
